The outlandishly good-looking and energetic Junkpunch plays punk and hard-rock influenced originals peppered with an eclectic assortment of cover material. They have also been known to charm the pants off of unsuspecting bar patrons by playing the odd covers-only marathon.

The band formed following a 2003 party where the members discovered that they each shared a desire to play original rock and/or roll music. The next day, after the hangovers subsided, the four got together and Junkpunch was born.

Since that first afternoon Junkpunch has amassed stage experience playing various parties and bars in the area, most notably being tapped as the house band for the Indian Lake Community Club Comedy Night in 2005, '06 and '07. In March of '06 they "released" their first original live EP "It's a Junkpunch Christmas" followed by "Worth the Wait?" a few months later.

Currently, Junkpunch is crafting their opus in a new home studio, while always keeping an eye open for venues to showcase their high-energy music in the Northern NJ and NYC area. 05/08
